Event Details

One year ago, the BPF published its latest report on public private partnerships “Unlocking growth through partnership”. This looks at what makes a successful public private partnership and sets out a number of lessons to help support other partnership-led developments. The report also shines a light on projects that have been successful in creating great places, including the Helix in Newcastle.

Helix is a 24-acre innovation district in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. It combines commercial and residential space with first-class research and education facilities and was created through a partnership between Newcastle City Council, Newcastle University and Legal and General.

This webinar will revisit our report and the Helix case study and explore the elements of successful public private partnerships. It will also be an opportunity to bring the Helix case study up to date and share insights and experiences on how the partnership has evolved over the last 12 months. This is an opportunity to hear directly from the authors of the report and from those involved in delivering the Helix.

You can find out more about the Helix here.
