This expert panel will explore the future of co-living beyond London.

While much of the growth in co-living has so far been concentrated in London, there is increasing momentum for this innovative housing model in the UK’s regional cities – including Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Bath, Exeter, Brighton and beyond.

This panel will explore the opportunities and challenges of expanding co-living developments across the regions, drawing on fresh insights from the Why Co-Living (WhyCo) campaign and lessons from operational and pipeline schemes.

Bringing together leading voices from from the private and public sectors and with case studies from pioneering developments, the session will highlight:

  • The potential of co-living to contribute to local housing needs and urban regeneration strategies.
  • Policy and planning considerations to enable high-quality, community-oriented co-living projects.
  • Insights from regional perspectives and how to build successful partnerships.
