This expert panel will explore the future of co-living beyond London.

While much of the growth in co-living has so far been concentrated in London, there is increasing momentum for this innovative housing model in the UK’s regional cities – including Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Brighton and beyond.

This panel will explore the opportunities and challenges of expanding co-living developments across the regions, drawing on fresh insights from the Why Co-Living (WhyCo) campaign and lessons from operational and pipeline schemes.

Bringing together leading voices from development, investment, design, and local government, the session will highlight:

  • The potential of co-living to contribute to local housing needs, ESG goals, and urban regeneration strategies.
  • Case studies and success stories from pioneering developments.
  • Policy and planning considerations to enable high-quality, community-oriented co-living projects.
  • Insights from regional perspectives and how to build successful partnerships.

Speakers to be confirmed.

This panel is part of the broader WhyCo campaign to promote the benefits of co-living and support the growth of this model across the UK.

We hope you can make it.
