Partnerships are central to Town Centre Regeneration. They facilitate the housing, transport, shops, leisure, cultural spaces and community and public services needed for new and renewed communities. How to best unlock the power of partnerships and involve private sector capacity, expertise and capital? What are the wider challenges for Town Centres? The BPF’s forthcoming manifesto on retail property and town centres sets out how the real estate industry can contribute and policies needed to unlock private sector investment. Our round table considers what is needed to make public-private partnerships successful, and wider issues for Town Centre regeneration to focus on.
