Event Details

Securing access to energy consumption data is a huge challenge for many property owners. In our Towards Net Zero research, published last year, access to energy data was cited by many BPF members as one of the biggest barriers to a net zero carbon transition. Our latest research, Closing the Data Deficit, examines at this in more detail. It looks at the role of energy data in the net zero transition, examines the challenges and barriers to sharing data, explores how technology can help and makes a series of policy recommendations.

Our next Sustainability Techfast will bring together property investors, owners and managers and PropTech providers to discuss the research, to share insights and experiences and explore how Proptech can help overcome the energy data challenges. We will also look beyond energy consumption data and explore other data challenges which impact on the sector's net zero transition.
