LGC Future Places: Planning reform – a barrier to place leadership?

BPF Chief Executive Melanie Leech will be speaking at the LGC Future Places virtual event 'Planning reform - a barrier to place leadership' on March 24.

The Government has set out its bid to overcome the barriers to housebuilding and other development within the White Paper. Here we examine the White Paper’s contents, discuss whether and how they can be a spur to new development, and the tools that place leaders have to guide the development of their area. Identifying what is missing from the White Paper that should be considered.
