The real estate sector faces a huge challenge in decarbonising buildings.
The sector is responsible for around 25% of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK and has a carbon footprint second only to that of the transport sector.
And recent reports from the UK Climate Change Committee (CCC) and the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Chance (IPCC) suggest that the UK and the world is falling short on the action needed to meet the commitments made in Paris to limit global warming to 1.5C.
So can UK real estate rise to the net zero challenge?
Join us on 21 June to hear from leading industry professionals on how the sector is responding to the challenge and what more policymakers, property owners and developers, and investors need to do if the sector is to deliver on its net zero ambitions.
