The BPF and our members are firm believers in the power of partnership, one that leverages the combined energy and expertise of both the public and private sectors. This is why over the last ten years we have worked with the Local Government Association and other stakeholders to understand the components of successful public private partnerships. Our most recent report, ‘Unlocking growth through partnership’ identifies the dynamics of successful partnership-led development to help advance other public private partnerships.
Building successful public private partnerships is difficult at the best of times but in the current economic climate, and given the impact of the climate crisis on new development, the need for business and local authorities to work creatively and constructively together is more important than ever.
This will be an opportunity to share insights and experience, to discuss the ingredients of successful partnership-led development and to explore how we might pioneer new public private partnerships across the region and around the UK.
We hope to see you there.
