This year’s BTR Forum will start with the Global perspective, exploring the impacts of the UK economy on housing in general, and BTR specifically; with a Market overview, and then driving down into the performance and prospects for BTR. The session on ‘Who’s backing Who?’ will delve into the investor’s world; assess trends and look at who is currently investing; where the investment is coming from; and the increasing impacts of ESG in investment decision-making.

The UK’s housing challenge is a major focus for the Real Estate Industry, and the BTR Forum will address how we can ‘break down the barriers’ and deliver truly affordable rented living - Homes for everyone! Movers & Shakers champions best-in-class private and public sector partnerships. How can BTR developers, investors, local authorities, housing associations, and of course, the local community, create thriving and loveable, ‘Places to Live’? These ‘places’ are now often inter-generational - requiring ‘Spaces to Grow’, are mixed-income, and going forward, most likely to be built on land that is yet to be un-locked for development.
