Rebecca Clutten
Barrister, Francis Taylor BuildingRebecca Clutten was called to the Bar in 2008 and is recognised as a leading junior in the field. She currently holds a top 3 position in Planning Magazine’s Planning Law Survey 2024. She is also in Planning Magazine’s top three rated barristers for Infrastructure Planning, the highest ranking junior.
Rebecca is listed in both Chambers and Partners’ Guide to the UK Bar and the Legal 500, and is a past nominee for Chambers and Partners Planning and Environment Junior of the Year.
Rebecca's practice spans Chambers' core areas, but has a particular focus infrastructure planning and compulsory purchase and compensation matters.
She has acted for and advised utilities, developers, landowners and private individuals, as well as central and local government. Notable clients include National Grid, Network Rail, Peel Group and Transport for London.
Rebecca's experience covers the appellate courts at all levels, as well as the Upper Tribunal and planning inquiries, and she welcomes instructions to act individually or as a junior across all of Chambers' practice areas.
She is a past Chairman of the Compulsory Purchase Association, a former Committee Member to PEBA and a member of NIPA.
Sian Strawbridge
Assistant Director, DeloitteSiân is an Assistant Director within Deloitte's Land Assembly and Compulsory Purchase Team with 6 years of experience within the compulsory purchase industry. Siân qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer in February 2022. Siân primarily acts on behalf of acquiring authorities advising on the use of compulsory purchase powers, land assembly strategy and compensation matters and has experience in negotiating compensation settlements and drafting property cost estimates. She also has experience of working on behalf of commercial and residential claimants impacted by highways schemes, including the submission of objections and relevant representations. As well as her involvement in the Compulsory Purchase Association and CPA Future Committee, she is an active member of the Women in CPO initiative.
Aidan Fletcher-Watts
Senior Development Manager, Old Oak and Park Royal Development CorporationAidan works at the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC), where he plays a leading role in one of London’s largest and most complex regeneration projects – Old Oak. His work currently focusses on the land assembly of over 30 hectares of land in disparate public and private ownerships, to enable the delivery of thousands of new homes and major employment space around the UK’s largest new rail station. Aidan is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with previous consultancy experience, advising on regeneration, development and land assembly projects across the country.
Sasha Gordon
Director, QuodSasha Gordon is a Director in the Strategic Land and Regeneration team, working across infrastructure, new settlements and economic and social impact assessment. She is a keen problem solver – knowing what and who to ask to effect change and getting the right people in the room. With a background in economics, she has both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills for pre and post hoc evaluation and advice. She has worked on large, multi-phase, complex projects across England and NI, including Gilston Park Estate, Woodberry Down, Otterpool Park, 18 Blackfriars Road, South Quay Plaza, Anglo American Woodsmith; Dalradian Gold Limited, Kidbrooke Village, Royal Arsenal Riverside, Eastwick and Sweetwater and East Village. She develops bespoke models and approaches to infrastructure planning, housing markets, social value and quality of life assessments. These provide a mechanism to plan interventions in the built environment from the perspective of prosperity, success, happiness, and health of individuals and communities. Sasha is an industry leading expert on Community Infrastructure Levy with a comprehensive understanding of the regulations and their practical development implications.
