Will I receive booking confirmation?
Yes, a confirmation email will be sent once your booking is processed. If you haven't received confirmation, please check your spam/junk folder or get in touch with us at events@bpf.org.uk.
Is there a deadline for event registration?
You can book a place at an event if the 'Book Now' button is available. Once registrations close, this button will not be available although the event will still visible on the website.
Early registration is recommended, as our in-person events often sell out. For paid events, booking closes 1-2 days ahead of the event.
Can I make changes to my registration or cancel?
Yes, subject to the event’s terms and conditions. Please contact the events team as soon as possible.
Can I sign up for a BPF Futures event?
If you’re a BPF Futures member, you’re very welcome to register for BPF Futures events. If you are not yet a BPF Futures member but meet the eligibility criteria, please register on our page before signing up for events. This is especially important for paid events, as the BPF Futures rate will only be applied if you are a registered member.
Can I bring a guest who is a non-member to a BPF event?
On the registration page, you will see if the event is open to non-members. If it is, you are welcome to invite a non-member guest to attend. Please note that for paid events, non-member tickets are available at a different rate.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, registrations can usually be transferred. If you are unable to attend, substitute delegates are welcome to attend in your place at no additional charge. Please inform us at events@bpf.org.uk at least two working days before the event.
What happens if an event is cancelled or postponed?
We will make every effort to reschedule the event, and all original registrants will be given priority for the new date. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event and will refund or defer all booking invoices paid. We do not, however, accept liability for travelling, accommodation or any other expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement (as per our terms and conditions).
Can I get a list of attendees for a specific event?
Full delegate lists are not shared publicly however, for our flagship events, a digital programme listing all delegates is shared prior to the event.
How do I access virtual events?
Joining instructions, including the Zoom link, will be provided by email a day before the event. If you register on the day of an online event, please contact us directly to ensure you receive the details.
Are events accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, we select venues and host events with accessibility in mind. If you have specific requirements, please contact the events team in advance or update you requirements on the portal so we can ensure appropriate arrangements are made.
What is the BPF Group's approach to sustainability at events?
We're committed to making our events as sustainable as possible. We minimise printed material, work with venues and caterers to reduce environmental impact, provide locally sourced and plant-based catering options, and consider delegates' travel when planning events. We continuously seek ways to improve the sustainability of our events.
Will photos or videos be taken at events?
Photography and videography may take place at our events to capture highlights for promotional purposes. This will be mentioned in the joining instructions, giving you the opportunity to flag any concerns in advance.
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let the events team know in advance or inform a member of staff at the event so we can accommodate your request.
How can we sponsor or host an event?
Sponsorship opportunities are available exclusively to member organisations. A full list of available opportunities is published on our website. If you have further questions or would like to discuss sponsorship in more detail, please contact the our events team.
Hosting opportunities are open to member organisations and considered on a case-by-case basis. If your organisation is interested in hosting, please contact the events team to discuss upcoming opportunities and requirements.
