Rosie Hunt

Assistant Vice President at DWS Group

Rosie is part of the European Real Estate Research & Strategy team, based in London. In her role, Rosie assists with the formation of the DWS European real estate strategy and European House View and forecasts. In addition, Rosie undertakes detailed analysis and research for both internal and external research reports and presentations, alongside supporting the European transaction teams with acquisitions and disposals, covering the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets. Rosie joined the company in 2020, having previously worked as a senior research analyst at Property Market Analysis (5 years), proving in-depth research, analysis and forecasting of the UK commercial real estate market. Rosie holds a BA in Geography from the University of Nottingham.


James Agar

Head of Real Estate Origination at Pension Insurance Corporation plc

James is Head of Real Estate Origination at Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), a specialist insurer of UK defined benefit pension schemes with a c£50bn portfolio. James has over 20 years of financial services, capital markets and investment management experience. Prior to PIC, James was Head of Residential at Schroder Real Estate Investment Management, the FTSE100 listed Investment manager.

 

Over the past five years PIC has made significant investments into Build-to-Rent, Long Income and Affordable Housing. James leads the insurer’s real estate teams, establishing PIC as a leading participant in the annuity grade investment market. The team have delivered a number of high-profile transactions including the £268m purchase of 2,Ruskin Square (Croydon) let to HM Home Office, the Millars Quay income strip at Wirral Waters in partnership with Peel L&P and the HABIKO Joint Venture between PIC, Muse and Homes England.

Jessica Hardman

CEO and Co-Founder of Aboria Capital and President of the British Property Federation

Aboria Capital CEO and Co-Founder Jessica Hardman has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment. Jessica recently co-founded Aboria Capital with Downing Students, with the ambition to become a leading investment manager in the European Living sector market. 

She started out her investment career at BNP Paribas and then joining Deutsche Bank’s real estate funds business in 2004. Jessica has enjoyed a successful, varied career with Deutsche Bank and DWS; first leading transaction teams culminating in €12bn of transactions, and subsequently running European fund management for international investors. Jessica was a pioneer and trusted portfolio manager for the wave of inward capital flows from Asian institutional clients from 2011.  She built a multi-billion assets under management (AuM) business for Deutsche Bank, utilising her skills in business building, leadership and investment solutions. In 2023 Jessica became the CEO of DWS UK, overseeing 500 staff and over €200bn AuM across Global Alternatives and Passive public market strategies. 
 

In 2024, Jessica was appointed President of the British Property Federation and joined the board of INREV, the European non-listed real estate association.
