In September 2021, Harworth secured planning approval for the regeneration of the former Ironbridge Power Station in Shropshire into a mixed-use development comprising 1,000 new homes, alongside a range of commercial, leisure and community uses. Harworth acquired the 350-acre site in June 2018, before which it had been used for electricity generation for over 80 years.
