The Future of UK Real Estate RE:Futures

RE:Futures is our 3,000+ strong network that brings together the next generation of talent from across the industry - connecting, developing and elevating future leaders.

Designed for those at all stages of their early career, RE:Futures offers a comprehensive programme of networking, learning and leadership opportunities. It builds on the combined strengths of AREF FutureGen, BPF Futures and IPF Future Leaders creating a bigger, more connected and more impactful community.

Corporate Members: If your organisation is a corporate member of Real Estate:UK then membership of RE:Futures is completely free (you can find out by using our membership directory here).

Non-corporate members: If you do not belong to a corporate member of Real Estate:UK then membership for the remainder 2026 is free. Fees will apply from 2027 to anyone with between 4-15 years’ experience.

Students & public sector workers: Membership for RE:Futures will continue to be free to students on recognised courses and public sector workers from 2027. 

RE:Futures is led by its members and supported by Real Estate:UK.

A central Steering Committee oversees the network, supported by two sub-committees:

• Early Careers (0–5 years)
• Future Leaders (6–15 years) 

These groups ensure that activity is shaped by those closest to the audience, reflecting the needs and ambitions of the next generation.

Committees are responsible for developing ideas, setting priorities and working with RE:UK to deliver a consistent, high-quality programme.

Can I join a RE:Futures committee? While applications for the 2026–2028 tenure of both committees are now closed, spaces on committees may become available from time to time.
