Our short response to the consultation on non-domestic smart meter rollout highlights the role of smart meters in enabling effective data sharing between landlords and tenants to support the decarbonisation of commercial buildings. The response calls for mandatory, rather than voluntary, data sharing and challenges the suggestion that commercial landlords are a barrier to the installation of smart meters in non-domestic buildings.
