We’ve responded to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s consultation on improving proportionality and safety outcomes in building control work, supporting the principle of greater proportionality in the system. Our response raises concerns that the telecommunications-focused proposals are too narrow and could reduce oversight or create inconsistencies across similar types of work.
