SUPPORT YOUR BPF!

Are you ready for a new challenge in 2020? And, are you passionate about the property industry, the issues we face and our future? If you’ve answered yes, then apply today to join the British Property Federation’s Board!

The Board is the body overseeing the work of the BPF on behalf of members and as part of our commitment to promoting a more diverse and inclusive real estate industry, and to encouraging greater diversity of representation and thought in the BPF’s work, the Board is now seeking expressions of interest from within our membership in order to create a pool of candidates for future Board appointments.

For further information on the BPF’s Statement of Principles for a Diverse and Inclusive Real Estate Industry, visit our D&I webpage here.

In addition to the BPF Presidential team, Chief Executive and Hon Treasurer, the Board contains six members elected by the membership at the AGM each year in July, normally for terms of three years. The Board meets four times a year and Board members may also be asked to undertake occasional representational duties for the BPF.

In making appointments, the Board will be seeking to ensure:

  • That the make-up of the Board represents a diverse range of industry perspectives
  • The best balance of skills and experience in order to deliver its functions effectively

See our current Board here.

If you think you’re up for the challenge, and would like to express interest in being considered to join the Board, submit a cv and a short personal statement outlining what you believe you would bring to the Board and how this would complement the existing membership. Make your submission via email to our Chief Executive Melanie Leech. link to email?

We intend to interview a shortlist of candidates for Board appointment in February 2020.
