Insolvency

The Insolvency Committee focuses on matters relating to business insolvency, particularly the effect of CVAs and Restructuring Plans on property owners. The committee advocates for improved insolvency and restructuring processes that are fairer to creditors such as property owners and works to develop best practice around engagement between property owners and businesses. Members are drawn from commercial teams within property owners and also include insolvency practitioners and legal advisors. The committee regularly interacts with the Government's Insolvency Service and insolvency bodies such as R3 and the Institute for Turnaround.
