Join us for our March Lunch & Learn session on Selling to Government, where our speakers will provide organisations with a practical overview of how to approach selling into UK government bodies. We will explain different roles that government bodies across all levels (central gov, local authorities etc.) could play in your journey, and practical ways to approach structuring pitches for government buyers. We will outline indicative financial thresholds, routes to market including frameworks like G-Cloud and DOS, and key procurement legislation to keep in mind. The session will also cover methods for finding opportunities and engagement timelines.

*Open to UKPA Gold, Individual Members and limited tickets for non-members

AGENDA

The session will consist of two presentations followed by an open Q&A discussion.

Part 1: Selling to Government

Speaker: Disha Shanbhag, PUBLIC

This session will provide PropTech companies with a practical overview of how to approach selling into UK government bodies.

Part 2: Founder Perspective: Breaking into the Public Sector

Speaker: Gonzalo Marquesini, Renkap

In this session, Gonzalo Marquesini, Founder of Renkap, will share his experience navigating the public sector as a purpose-driven PropTech founder. Drawing on Renkap’s journey working with local government, he will reflect on the challenges that early-stage companies often face when engaging with public bodies, and how his team approached selling to government. The session will highlight key barriers encountered along the way and the strategies that helped Renkap gain traction, offering practical insights for PropTech founders seeking to work with public sector clients.
