Overview
Real Estate:Scotland is the new unified voice of the Scottish real estate industry, representing organisations that play a vital role in the nation’s economy. Working alongside government and industry leaders, it champions innovation, excellence, and high standards across the built environment.
The inaugural Annual Dinner 2026 will bring together senior decision-makers and influential figures for an evening of conversation and connection in a prestigious Edinburgh setting. The evening will also feature after-dinner speaker Brian Taylor, offering expert political insight and commentary - particularly timely in a Scottish election year.
After-Dinner Speaker Brian Taylor
We’re excited to welcome Brian Taylor as after-dinner speaker. Brian is a prominent Scottish journalist, best known as the former Political Editor for BBC Scotland, a role he held for over 30 years until 2020. He is a highly regarded analyst of Scottish politics, covering devolution and major political events, and currently serves as a columnist for the Herald.
