Building Safety Levy

We're pleased to give you the opportunity to attend a webinar with MHCLG about the Building Safety Levy.

The Building Safety Levy will be a charge, introduced this autumn, on all new residential buildings that require building control approval (subject to certain exemptions).

The Levy will raise funds to pay for remediation of cladding on buildings where a developer cannot be identified or held responsible. It is a key element of the Government’s wider approach to ensuring the industry makes a fair contribution to pay for the cost of remediating buildings affected by unsafe cladding.

During this webinar, MHCLG officials will share more information about the Levy, how the collection process will work and how members can best prepare. The session will also include the opportunity for Q&A.
